Despite only joining the Los Angeles Rams this offseason, cornerback Jaylen Watson is already playing recruiter for his new team. The two-time Super Bowl champion knows it takes a tremendous amount of talent and skill to win a championship, especially on the defensive line. Having played with an All-Pro interior rusher in Chris Jones, Watson is looking to add another in Los Angeles.

He didn’t have to look too far. After the Rams added defensive end Myles Garrett on Monday, Watson took to social media asking for Aaron Donald to give him a call, alluding to the future Hall of Famer making a return for the 2026 season.

In the unlikely event that Donald does return, he would be joining a revamped defense with Watson, All-Pro Trent McDuffie, Pro Bowler Byron Young, and now the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett.

However, Donald has continued to state his happiness in retirement and has made no public plans to resume his playing career, so it’s nothing more than a pipe dream.
