Retired Air Force Lt. Col. David Flippo is projected to win a competitive House Republican primary to succeed Rep. Mark Amodei, R-Nv. The Associated Press called the race on Wednesday morning. As of press time, Flippo led with 45.7% of the vote to James Settelmeyer’s 35.3%, with 83% of precincts reporting. Flippo previously secured Trump’s endorsement in the contest.
